The Knowledge Community

Vancouver is fortunate to have a strong presence in the growing ‘Web 2.0’ global community. Working with a group of local gurus using the open source Drupal community platform, MobileMuse.ca has transformed itself into a global conversation about ‘mobile lifestyle and culture’. Features of the Knowledge Community include “Mobile Musings�? – blog posts from both Project Leaders and MobileMuse.ca Network leaders. Also included is a “Soapbox�? feature for small cultural, new media and wireless companies to express their mobile idea on a global stage. Star bloggers on diverse mobile content topics are being asked to participate in the MobileMuse.ca community, and bring a global audience to the conversation. In this way, “mobile ideas�?, large and small, have the opportunity to broaden their discussion base and generate interest in their concepts.
