Panelists:

  • Mark Gilbert, Group Program Manager for Windows Live Search for Mobile, Microsoft
    Mark Gilbert is the Group Program Manager for Windows Live Mobile Search at Microsoft, in this role he is responsible for defining Microsoft's product development plan in the mobile search space. Mark has been involved in creating a number of mobile technologies over the last eight years at Microsoft. These include the initial development of Microsoft's .NET Compact Framework and mobile development tools, technologies in the Windows CE operating system; and more recently helping to create and grow Microsoft's technology incubation center in Europe which focuses on creating mobile networking and security technologies for Microsoft products. Mark has a number of publications and has received a number of patents related to his work on mobile devices. He has a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada.

  • Brett Butterfield, Technical Director North America, ShoZu
    Brett Butterfield is ShoZu's Technical Director for North America and is responsible for driving the ShoZu products and direction for US and Canada. Brett was one of the founding members of Ofoto as Director of Imaging and moved on to the Director of R&D for Kodak Gallery and Kodak Mobile after theacquisition in 2000.

  • Linda Kim, Senior Business Development Manager, Nokia
    Ms. Kim is responsible for business development and marketing of Mobile Search software at Nokia. She works with global and local search engine providers to build the ultimate, highly optimized mobile search experience to Nokia end-users.Prior to joining Nokia, she was at Philips Consumer Electronics building and managing digital content partnerships with companies such as Yahoo! and iFilm to bring Internet content to the home: help to build a Digital Living Room. Prior to Philips CE, she was the alliance marketing manager at Sun Microsystems responsible for building joint go-to-market programs with its top ISV partners such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, and Ariba.
