Our vision
When the Mobile Muse Network was founded in 2004, the "MUSE" acronym stood for "Media-rich Urban Shared Experience". That simple objective is as true and compelling today as it was then.
The real world is a showcase for the value of experience, and the Mobile Muse Network pioneers the design of mobile experience in an age when our real and virtual worlds are becoming interwoven in unprecedented ways.
The work we do can't be achieved by any university lab, incubator (like Vancouver's great Wavefront accelerator), government agency, company, or community organization. These are our partners, all bringing distinct, complementary value, yet none having the independent vision and specialized capacity for collaborative applied innovation at this scale.
The Mobile Muse Network was conceived to bring together such diverse stakeholders, and to champion groundbreaking collective projects where the resulting innovations deliver tangible value to all.
Our work can only been done in the streets, immersed in the lively chaos of urban existence. Innovations there are 'emergent', and we catalyze emergence by embedding our work in the authentic needs of community organizations and their exisitng audiences.
